My special guest today is Colleen Evanson. Colleen is an Emmy nominated
writer who has worked on Disney's reboot of DuckTales, Cartoon Network's DC
Super Hero Girls, Netflix Kid Cosmic, and Amazon Primes the Legend of Vox
Machina. Most recently she was the head writer for the Disney Plus
series Monsters At Work. Before starting her career in animation she worked as
an executive producer assistant and writer's assistant on several action shows
you've probably never heard of. Colleen is going to be a guest speaker at
MAVO2023 this year. She’ll be offering a general session, two breakout sessions
and will be on the animation panel as well! I really think that looking at scripts
from a writers perspective can be a game changer. Colleen is extremely talented
and in the few conversations I’ve had with her, I’ve already learned so much!
