As you guys probably know, the MAVO2024 “Get Inspired” Voiceover
Conference is coming up in just a few weeks on November 8-10 at the Westin
Dulles Hotel in Herndon, Virginia. If you’ve attended the event before, then
you know that things would not run as seamlessly as they do if it weren’t for
our Special guest today!
For over 40 years Emmy Award winning sound designer, recording engineer,
and producer/director “Uncle Roy” Yokelson has been helping the voiceover
and music industries with education and technical support. If it has
ANYTHING to do with audio, "Antland Productions" is the only company you’ll
ever need.
Roy is a SAG-AFTRA approved audiobook director/producer. He’s the co-
producer of the “Live with Squacky” podcast and he mixes and masters every
episode! He is the lead audio engineer in charge of all the equipment and
sound at MAVO2024! His assistant at the conference is Patrick Kirchner and
we honestly couldn’t run the event without these two!
This episode is a fun chat with "Uncle" Roy about what he does as an audio engineer and what his role will be at the upcoming MAVO2024 Conference! Enjoy!!
